Lots of folks dislike the burnt flavor that coffee gets when it sits in a glass pot over a heating element. To avoid this, coffee shops often brew right into large thermal pots to keep the coffee warm without it becoming overcooked. The Zojirushi Fresh Brew does that, too, but in home-sized batches. It looks great, too, with a glossy black body and stainless steel carafe and brew basket.
To brew, lift the lid and swing the water outlet spout to one side while the filter is being loaded; the spout will return to its proper position when the lid is closed. A small red ball in the water gauge makes it extra simple to read. And an electronic clock module also serves as a timer that will start the brewer at a specified time. The carafe's lid is designed to be on during brewing, with a small cap to help keep the heat in after it's ready. The Fresh Brew also has a pause-and-serve function that stops the flow for 30 seconds while a cup of coffee is served.
To clean the brewer unit, use a solution of white vinegar and water, following the instructions in the accompanying booklet. The unit is not immersible. The exterior can be wiped with a damp soft rag; do not use abrasives or scouring pads. The filter reservoir is removable; clean with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. The coffee brewer measures 15 by 12 by 9 inches (includes carafe handle when unit is completely assembled), and it uses #4 cone-shaped disposable paper filters. ตอบลบI'm going on five years of perfect performance from my Zojirushi and I thought I'd post a quick review. Five years back I had purchased a different machine (can't even recall the brand) and it quit within 3-4 months. I understand man-made items aren't perfect, but ... this was frustrating. A waste of $$ and more stuff for a landfill. After searching around online I decided on Zojirushi - in fact, I bought two. One was a 2 cup machine, the other a full-blown 10 cup brewer. They have both performed flawlessly and if/when the day comes, we'll buy another Zojirushi.

ตอบลบThis is the best coffee maker I have ever owned. It is tall so you need to have cabinets high enough to accommodate
it.
The great thing about it is that the coffee is very hot and stays that way for hours without the bitter, strong taste that most coffee has when it has stood for a period of time.
I have owned mine for several years and had no problems. In fact, I will buy another one if this one dies.

ตอบลบAfter going through several other coffee makers, I decided to give this one a try based on price and reviews. The coffee comes out hot, and while the carafe isn't the greatest, coffee will stay drinkably warm for half a day. The only problem that I have had is when the beans were over-ground and the fine coffee clogged up the filter and caused an overflow. Other than that, it's great.

The quality of the coffee *notwithstanding*, the noises produced for a good 10 minutes while brewing a full pot of coffee are incredibly loud! My bedroom is right next to our kitchen, and the bursts of steam never fail to wake me up when others are using it. No, I'm not a light sleeper. Yes, it sounds like a cross between a hydraulic lift and a Boeing 747. Be sure to take this into account when comparing this coffee maker to other products!

ตอบลบThis product was a disappointment to me. I expected much better quality for $ 100.00. I notice that the price is now reduced to about $80.00. Most comparable products sale for about $ 50.00 in stores.
The only caveat this product has is the carafe, which does keep the coffee hotter longer. It has a v-shaped filter which cost about 2.3 cents apiece instead of the round one which cost .5 cents apiece, if you are cost conscious. Perhaps I did not read the description carefully. Quality of coffee is the same as my previous coffee makers. There is no setting for coffee strength, although I would set it at medium and never change anyway.
